Ramide Jewels

Ramide Jewels is an artistic and artisanal project aimed at the creation of symbolic jewels conceived and created by Raffaella Del Ferraro.

After graduating from the Faculty of Sociology in Anthropological address at the Sapienza University of Rome, I started working in my father's goldsmith's workshop, turning my attention to the symbolic forms of the jewel and their ability to strengthen the personal, collective, religious and ethical identity of the wearer. The symbols are in fact the intrinsic signifying representation in the shape of each jewel that restore meaning, history, value and communicative capacity.

In addition to being influenced by anthropological elements, my jewels are expressively enriched by all my passions.

Besides dedicating my time in the workshop, I teach Kundalini Yoga (my spiritual name is Guru Jai kaur), Gatka (an Indian martial art) and I am a Gong master.

Many say that in the creation of my jewels I still express that romantic soul that wants everything to be created by hand, without the aid of machinery. In fact, this is how I express in my work those vibratory frequencies emanating in the very act of creation, which makes a jewel a product full of humanity.

On the other hand, if it is true that we are what we think, the final act of material creation can only express the connection with the whole and with the one.

My handcrafted creations involve the processing of different types of metal, such as silver, gold, bronze, copper and brass.

I am passionate about Crystal Therapy. Each mineral has specific characteristics that resonate with the body-mind vibration of the people who wear them, like in an alchemical game between the parts.

In addition to making jewelry inspired by Sacred Geometry; the Khandas, the Chakras, and the creation of the Japa Mala are the protagonists of my handcrafted creations.
